VOLUNTEERS and INTERNSHIP PLACEMENTS

ERMIS Africa has limited Volunteer and internship opportunities. The opprotunities are meant for only professionals with experience in community development. In addition they must have such qualities as loving, kind, compassionate, with a strong social interaction and ready to put up with ordinary african life.

Our placement programmes are at cost of usd 20 per day payable in full to our bank at least 2 months in advance of arriving. This amount cater for our administrative cost and placement overheads. In addition, persons seeking placements must meet their living cost such as accommondation, food and refreshments and other personal effects

Potential person seeking placements must fill an application form specifying the intent, duration and expectations of the placement. Application takes at least 2 weeks to process. The duration for the placement is based on the period of peak programme activities.

Airport pick-ups at JKA Nairobi and travel to our local town at Nakuru located at a distance of 200 kilometer is usd 68. The travel takes approximately 3 hours along a very rough semi-tarmac road with plenty of pot holes and wildlife haphazardly crossing over the road.

 

The Centre is dedicated to cater for the plights of destitute children and rural disadvantaged women who are struggling day-by-day to meet their basic livelihoods.
